On Saturday 17 August will gather at St. Paul's Cathedral - Corner Flinders and Swanston Streets, Melbourne at 9 am to pray a liturgy which will conclude at 11:30 am. We will then march peacefully and prayerfully to the State library which is a few blocks away where several speeches will be made about the situation in Egypt. We will invite the Victorian Council of Churches and all Christian denominations as well as the wider Australian public to come and pray for peace in Egypt and for the persecuted Copts.
